A delegation from Moses Kotane in South Africa visits the Kreishandwerkerschaft Steinfurt-Warendorf where the inter-company courses take place, a substantial part of the dual vocational training system.
At the education center in Rheine, the guests got information about the dual education system in Germany and got an overview of the practical workshops. Especially the interplay between companies, vocational school and Kreishandwerkerschaft have left a great impression.
The guests were interested in the dual system of work-based training and school-based training. During a tour through the training centers, the guests got an impression of what dual vocational training in the craft means in practice and what role the Kreishandwerkerschaft plays in the promotion of craft training.
