Vocational training partnership successfully completed

Six years ago, the Kreishandwerkerschaft Steinfurt Warendorf started the vocational training partnership with uMfolozi College in Richards Bay, South Africa by signing the cooperation agreement.

Now Frank Tischner, CEO of Kreishandwerkerschaft Steinfurt Warendorf, and Aika Drescher, Head of international Projects, travelled to South Africa for the final workshop.

Together with the long-term expert Oliver Petzold, they presented the results of their work to the sequa consultant.

This partnership will soon end with pride and wistfulness: with pride, because much has been achieved, even beyond the targets, and with wistfulness, because in these years’ friendships and personal connections with great respect have also been developed.

The history of this VET partnership program (BBP), which was funded by the BMZ, the objectives and the results have been summarised in the booklet “Evolve together” and can be downloaded here as a PDF.
